Ubaldo Villani-Lubelli

Ubaldo Villani-Lubelli is a Researcher at the Department of Law of the University of Salento and a DAAD Fellow. His academic career focuses on historical disciplines, with a Ph.D. from both the University of Salento and the University of Cologne.

• Education: Ph.D. in historical disciplines (University of Lecce/Italy and University of Cologne/Germany)

His research interests center on the European Integration Process, German political history in the 20th century, and the evolution of democracy in Germany from the Weimar Republic to the Berlin Republic, alongside the democratization of the European Union. He has been habilitated as a Professor in History of Political Doctrines and Political Institutions under the Italian National Scientific Habilitation (ASN 2018-2024).
