Dr. Bernhard Fulda is an Associate Professor and Director of Studies in History at Sidney Sussex College, University of Cambridge. He holds degrees from Oxford (BA in Modern History) and Cambridge (M.Phil in Historical Studies, PhD in History), with a career spanning Research Fellowships at Gonville & Caius College (Cambridge) and roles as Chatong So Fellow. His research focuses on modern European history, particularly Weimar Germany, Nazi-era cultural dynamics, and the intersection of art, media, and politics. Key works include analyses of Emil Nolde’s artistic trajectory under the Third Reich, Max Pechstein’s Expressionism, and media politics in interwar Germany.
