Tsibidis Giorgos

Dr. Tsibidis Giorgos is a Research Scientist at the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL) at FORTH, Greece. He holds a PhD in Theoretical High Energy Physics from the University of Sussex (1997), an MSc from the University of Pennsylvania (1993), and a Bachelor's from the University of Athens (1990). His career includes postdoctoral research at the University of Warwick (2000-2002), University of Birmingham (2000), and a Visiting Professorship at the University of Lyon (2017).

Currently leads research in the Ultrafast Laser Micro- and Nano- Processing group at IESL, focusing on advancing laser-based material modification techniques.
