معرفی
Trish McTighe is a Senior Lecturer at Queen's University Belfast's School of Arts, English and Languages. Her research focuses on Samuel Beckett's work within European avant-garde drama and Irish theatre histories, alongside explorations of festival studies, gender studies, and queer theory. She has published extensively on Beckett’s engagement with festivals and cultural economies, as well as on the politics of cleaning in performance art. McTighe teaches modules on Beckett, gender and performance, modernist theatre, and contemporary performance analysis.
Her research bridges textual analysis with socio-cultural contexts, examining how performance intersects with labour, ecology, and feminist activism. Recent projects include editing Samuel Beckett and Ecology (2025) and organizing international conferences on Beckett’s global influence. McTighe actively participates in academic networks, hosting visiting scholars and delivering invited talks on publishing strategies and performance theory.
