Trina Gannon

Trina Gannon is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Recreation, Sport Pedagogy and Consumer Sciences at Ohio University's Patton College of Education. Her contact email is gannont@ohio.edu.

• M.S. in Apparel, Textiles, and Merchandising, Minor in History (Ohio University)

Research Focus: Her interdisciplinary work spans retail merchandising, fashion studies, historic textiles curation, and museum education. She integrates industry experience into academic frameworks to explore consumer behavior and cultural preservation.

Curatorial Leadership: As curator of the Mary C. Doxsee Historic Clothing and Textile Collection, she manages preservation, designs exhibitions, and directs community engagement programs.
