Trilby Langton

Dr. Trilby Langton is a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience in NHS services, specializing in paediatric health psychology at a large NHS Children’s Hospital. She also serves as a Research Fellow at the University of York, contributing to the independent Cass review of gender identity services.

Tilly’s work integrates systemic, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed approaches, with a focus on family dynamics, mentalization, and narrative practice. She supports young people and families through low mood, anxiety, adversity, and trauma, emphasizing strengths-based coping strategies.

Her academic contributions include collaboration with the University of York on research related to gender identity services, while her clinical practice spans IPC’s Child and Adolescent, Gender, EMDR, and Physical Health Clinics. She is registered with the Health Care Professions Council.
