معرفی
Dr Travis Baker is a Research Fellow at Griffith University within the School of Griffith Sciences and the Department of Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Physics, currently serving as a Member of the Queensland Quantum and Advanced Technologies Research Institute (QUATRI) since 2025 and previously with the Centre for Quantum Dynamics (2022-2024).
His research expertise spans Quantum Information, Quantum Optics, and Quantum Computing, focusing on quantum steering, entanglement distribution, and fundamental quantum limits like the Heisenberg limit for laser coherence. He investigates theoretical frameworks for quantum correlations and measurement protocols, with applications in secure quantum communication and quantum information processing.
Analysis of his 12 publications (2018-2025) reveals consistent contributions to quantum steering phenomena and entanglement characterization. Key advancements include scalable multiparty steering protocols, resolution of coherence-sub-Poissonianity tradeoffs in lasers, and foundational insights into Bell nonlocality sharing—demonstrating a trajectory from theoretical quantum foundations toward practical quantum technology applications.
Dr Baker actively collaborates within the Queensland Quantum and Advanced Technologies Research Institute, contributing to Griffith University's quantum research ecosystem aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
