Tracy Hipp is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Sweet Briar College. She holds a B.A. in Studio Art from California State University Los Angeles and dual degrees of B.S. in Psychology and M.A./Ph.D. in Community Psychology from Georgia State University. Her postdoctoral training was as an ORISE Research Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the Division of Violence Prevention. Her research focuses on community-based interventions addressing public health issues, particularly violence prevention and mental health equity.
