Tracey Cooper

Tracey Cooper is Director of International Recruitment and Development and Staff Professional Development within the Law School at Birmingham City University (BCU). She serves as link tutor for BCU/LLM programmes with Kaplan Singapore and Horizon Sri Lanka. Previously, she held the role of LLB Programme Director at BCU for 7 years and managed courses at another West Midlands university for over a decade.

Research Focus: Her expertise spans Land Law, Contract Law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), integrating practical mediation skills into legal education frameworks.

Professional Background: Prior to academia, she served as a Professional Tribunal Officer at the Valuation Tribunal Service.
