Toyin Coker is a Lecturer at the University of East London (UEL), affiliated with the Royal Docks School of Business and Law and the Department of Strategy and Leadership. He joined UEL in July 2022 and teaches modules such as 'Managing Strategy, Operations and Partnerships' and 'Mental Wealth, Professional Fitness and Leadership'. He supervises MBA dissertations and holds a Doctorate in Education (EdD) from the University of Greenwich, an MSc in International Marketing Management from UEL, and a PGCE. His research focuses on teaching and learning, logistics, supply chain management, marketing, and entrepreneurship. He is a Fellow of the Society for Education and Training (FSET) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Previously, he worked at Lewisham College and the University of the West of Scotland. His industry experience spans International Operations, Sales Management, and Customer Service. He contributes to academic conferences and has published in refereed journals. His affiliations include the Centre of Innovation Management and Enterprise and the Centre for the Study of States, Markets and People.
