Dr. Tom E. Nightingale is a Lecturer in Exercise Physiology at the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Birmingham, UK. He holds a PhD from the University of Bath and has held postdoctoral positions at Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of British Columbia. His research focuses on improving health outcomes in individuals with neurological conditions, particularly spinal cord injury, through exercise and neuromodulation.
