Dr. Andrei Krassioukov is a Professor in the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Department of Medicine, University of British Columbia. He holds multiple leadership roles at ICORD, including Chair in Rehabilitation Research, Associate Director of Rehabilitation Research, and Director of the ICORD Autonomic Research Unit. Additionally, he is a Staff Physician at the Spinal Cord Program at GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Ontario.
Research Interests: Dr. Krassioukov specializes in autonomic dysfunctions following spinal cord injuries (SCI), with a focus on autonomic dysreflexia, blood pressure control, epidural stimulation, and vascular dysfunctions. His work bridges clinical medicine and neuroscience, aiming to improve rehabilitation outcomes for SCI patients through advanced neurophysiological research.
