Professor Todd Landman is a distinguished academic at the University of Nottingham, currently serving as the Research Director of the Rights Lab and a Professor of Political Science. With 25 years of expertise in human rights and modern slavery, he leads critical research projects on global human rights risks in supply chains and forced child begging in Niger.
His research interests include:
- Modern slavery prevalence and social theory
- Anti-slavery as a social movement
- Assessment of forced labour in business contexts
In 2022, he authored The Rights Track, which synthesises evidence on human rights and modern slavery. He collaborates with external partners like Sainsbury’s on research initiatives.
