Tina Nyfors is a doctoral researcher at the Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science (HELSUS) and a grant-funded researcher in the Department of Economics and Management at the University of Helsinki. She is affiliated with the Doctoral Programme in Interdisciplinary Environmental Sciences, focusing on sustainability science and environmental economics.
Her research explores sufficiency cultures, climate justice, and sustainable business transformations, particularly in housing and food industries. Recent work proposes processual systems approaches to understand organizational sustainability shifts.
Selected publications (2024–2025) address policy instruments for sustainable housing, climate justice frameworks, and cultural transitions in supply chains. She actively participates in academic events like the World Resources Forum and organizes sufficiency researcher meetings.
