Tina Gverovic

Tina Gverovic is a Course Leader for BA Sculpture at Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts. She is a practicing artist whose work spans installation, drawing, painting, sound, text, and video, focusing on intersections of space, territory, identity, and imagination. Her research emphasizes the overlapping of politics and poetics, exploring cultural/national identity, migration, conflict, and memorialization.

Her artistic practice has been exhibited globally, including at the 57th Venice Biennale (Croatian Pavilion), Tate Modern, and Suzhou Biennial. She co-directs Tkivo, an artist initiative based in Croatia, and has held teaching positions at institutions like Slade School of Arts, Dutch Art Institute, and WHW Academy in Zagreb.

Gverovic has received multiple grants from institutions including the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia, University of Reading, and Creative Europe Programme. She was nominated for the Art Prize Zürich and has supervised postgraduate research students such as Chen Xiangying (2023) and Shi Rui (2022).
