Timothy McEvoy is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Law and Deputy Director of the Domestic Violence Clinic at Tulane University School of Law since 2016. He specializes in legal education, clinical practice, and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. His roles include supervising student attorneys, managing litigation dockets, and collaborating with legal and community organizations.

Research Interests: McEvoy focuses on domestic violence litigation strategies, trauma-informed legal practices, and improving access to justice for marginalized communities. Advising & Partnerships: McEvoy mentors law students and attorneys, and leads partnerships with organizations like the New Orleans Family Justice Center and the Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team. He also serves on Tulane’s University Disciplinary Committee and various faculty committees.
