Maleaha Brown

Maleaha Brown is Professor at Southwestern Law School specializing in domestic violence and sexual assault litigation. She was appointed to the ABA Commission on Domestic & Sexual Violence in 2023, reflecting her expertise in victim advocacy and legal protections for survivors.

Before academia, Brown represented survivors through Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, handling complex family law cases involving abuse. She previously chaired the ABA Section of Family Law's Domestic Violence Committee.
