Sandra Alcaide serves as an Assistant Professor in the experiential learning program at Regent University School of Law and acts as Faculty Advisor for the Trial Advocacy Board.

Professor Alcaide's research and practice focus on trial advocacy, domestic violence law, child abuse law, sexual crimes prosecution, Title IX compliance, and family court representation. Her expertise is grounded in direct prosecutorial experience at the Bronx County District Attorney's Office handling domestic violence and sexual crimes cases, followed by victim advocacy work at Sanctuary for Families where she represented domestic violence survivors in family court and advised Title IX complainants.
Her prior career as a middle school teacher through Teach for America informs her interdisciplinary approach to education law and student advocacy. As Faculty Advisor for the Trial Advocacy Board, she provides hands-on mentorship in litigation skills development for law students.
