Timothy Malloy is a Professor and Frank G. Wells Endowed Chair in Environmental Law at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), holding joint affiliations with the School of Law and School of Public Health. He serves as Faculty Director of the UCLA Sustainable Technology and Policy Program, an interdisciplinary initiative co-directed with Dr. John Froines. His academic career at UCLA began in 1998 following 11 years in legal practice and regulatory roles at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Research focuses on environmental policy, nanotechnology governance, regulatory design, and organizational theory.
