Timothy J. Leslie serves as Adjunct Professor in the Leadership & Policy Admin department at the University of St. Thomas. He has been an instructor in the Public Safety Leadership Master's Degree Program since 2010 and also teaches at the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension's Management Series. Professionally, Leslie was appointed Chief Deputy for Dakota County Sheriff's Office in 2010, elected County Sheriff in 2014, and re-elected in 2018.
His academic focus centers on public safety leadership, law enforcement strategies, and criminal justice policy development, leveraging his extensive field experience to inform curriculum design.
