Victor Fazio, a Professor at the University of Southern California's Bovard College, is a law enforcement professional with over 25 years of experience in the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office. Currently serving as an Assistant Sheriff, he oversees specialized units including Major Crimes, Narcotics, and the Crime Lab.
His academic and professional work focuses on criminology, the opioid epidemic, and organizational change. He earned a BA in Political Science from UCLA, an MA in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University, and an EdD in Organizational Change and Leadership from USC, where his research addressed opioid-related harm reduction through physician education.
