Timothy Fallis, Ph.D., is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Communication at Hawaii Pacific University's College of Liberal Arts. His research bridges rhetoric, media studies, and cultural analysis, with a focus on political communication and the intersection of secular and religious ideologies.

Previously a master machinist in Silicon Valley and Hilo, Dr. Fallis brings practical experience to his teaching. He specializes in helping students develop coherent expression and critical engagement with persuasive rhetoric. His work includes studies on political advertising, debates, and Evangelical self-referential humor analyzed through Bakhtinian carnival theory.
He holds a longstanding commitment to the Hawaiian college experience and students who begin higher education later in life. His personal life includes a longtime marriage to Leticia, with whom he shares a passion for travel and adventure.
