Dr. Timothy Briles is an Associate Professor, Chair of Advanced Studies, and Director of the Administration and Leadership Program at Georgian Court University's School of Arts, Sciences, and Education. He also serves as Special Assistant to the President and Faculty Athletics Representative to the NCAA. His roles include leadership in academic administration, NCAA compliance, and educational program development.
- Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from St. Joseph’s University (2008)
- MS.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from University of Pennsylvania (2000)
- BA in Mathematics from University of Pennsylvania (1998)
His research focuses on math and science pedagogy, with publications exploring student misconceptions in physics and innovative teaching methods. He has presented at conferences on inclusive education, technology in instruction, and curriculum leadership. Beyond academia, he chairs the CACC FAR committee and serves on NCAA committees addressing academic and high school requirements.
Briles has coordinated teacher preparation programs and led initiatives like the NASA Education Resource Center. His work integrates educational theory with practical leadership, emphasizing inclusive and diverse school management.
