Tim van Zuijlen is a Lecturer and PhD Candidate in IT Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Groningen. His research focuses on intersections of law, technology, and sustainability, particularly in areas like AI oversight, consumer protection against planned obsolescence, and legal frameworks for digital platforms. He is a member of the editorial board for the IT Law paper series, the faculty council, and the standard committee for AI & Big Data at the Royal Netherlands Standardization Institute.
