Pepijn Tukker is a Lecturer and researcher in IT Law at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Law. He holds multiple roles including Member of the Groningen Centre for Health Law, Board of Examiners, and Committee for Health, Safety and Security. His research focuses on IT law, AI ethics, and digital rights.
Research interests include translating legal principles into computational systems, human rights implications of AI and internet use, and automation bias in legal practice. Recent work addresses social media's impact on health rights and ethical AI implementation.
Grants & Collaborations: Awarded a Stimulation Fund grant (2024) for multidisciplinary AI research with Tim van Zuijlen and Zoé Christoff.
