Tim Shick

Tim Shick, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Management at Hiram College. He holds a Ph.D. in Administrative and Leadership Studies, an M.A. in Industrial and Labor Relations, and a B.S. in Human Resource Management, all from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on nonprofit organizations' use of social media, stakeholder management, labor negotiations, and leadership development.

Research Interests: Shick explores how nonprofits leverage social media for stakeholder engagement, organizational retention strategies, and employee satisfaction. His work also addresses labor-management dynamics and leadership development in both nonprofit and corporate contexts.

Community Involvement: He actively coaches local Little League, supports nonprofits, and resides in DuBois, Pennsylvania, where he enjoys fishing with his son. Notably, he has fished in the Bermuda Triangle and attends the Little League World Series annually.
