Tim Knibbs

Tim Knibbs is a Primary Education Lecturer and 3rd Year Lead at the University of Gloucestershire. With 17+ years in education and safeguarding, he specializes in PSHE, teacher mentoring, and student transition support. He holds a BA (Hons) Education from Cardiff University (2002), PGCE Primary Education from the University of Wolverhampton (2006), and a 2024 Academic Apprenticeship and PGCAP from the University of Gloucestershire, where he became a University Fellow.

His professional experience includes roles as a primary school teacher, PE specialist, and NSPCC safeguarding worker. He focuses on holistic education, emphasizing emotional/social growth alongside academics. Awards include the 2025 Academic Professional Apprentice of the Year and the 2020 NSPCC Esther Rantzen Award.
