Tim Foxon is a Professor of Sustainability Transitions at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) within the University of Sussex Business School. His research focuses on technological and social aspects of energy transitions, including low-carbon economy pathways, energy-use and economic growth interdependencies, and digital society impacts. He has held academic roles at institutions such as the University of Leeds and Imperial College London.
