Madeleine Pauker is a Researcher and PhD candidate at the University of Sussex Business School, affiliated with the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) and Energy Demand Research Centre (EDRC). Her research focuses on the political economy of energy demand reduction in housing and place-based decarbonisation strategies, alongside community-led housing provision. She holds a BA in World Arts and Cultures from UCLA and an MSc in Housing and City Planning from UCL.
