Professor Tim Baines is the Executive Director of the Advanced Services Group and Professor of Operations Strategy at Aston Business School, part of the College of Business and Social Sciences at Aston University. He specializes in servitization, advanced services, and operations strategy, with a focus on manufacturing competitiveness and sustainability. His career spans academia and industry, including roles at Cranfield University and MIT.
Education: PhD in Manufacturing Strategy Formulation (Cranfield University, 1994), MSc in Manufacturing Systems Engineering (Cranfield, 1987), and HND in Mechanical Engineering (1984).
