Tim Altmeyer is an Associate Professor in the School of Theatre + Dance at the University of Florida, serving as the MFA Acting Graduate Coordinator. He holds an MFA in Dramatic Art from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill/PlayMakers Repertory Company. His professional career spans extensive work as a Broadway/Off-Broadway actor, film/TV performer, and director, with notable roles in Salome, Looped, and Three Tall Women. He has directed productions such as Angels in America and Glengarry Glen Ross at UF.
