Leslie Frost is a Teaching Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she holds a PhD in English (2000). Her research focuses on American Literature from 1900 to the present, Drama, Modernism, and Performance Studies. She authored Dreaming America: Popular Front Ideals and Aesthetics in Children’s Plays of the Federal Theatre Project (2013), analyzing how 1930s political dynamics influenced Federal Theatre Project plays. She also produced an 80th-anniversary staged reading of It Can’t Happen Here at Historic Playmakers Theatre (2016). Currently, she explores New Deal U.S. Post Office murals through the project Scene at the P.O..
