Tiffany J. Galus is Assistant Professor of Music (Bands) and Director of the Marching Hundred at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Previously, she served as Assistant Director of Bands at The University of Texas at Austin and as a public-school band director in northern Indiana. Her educational background includes a D.M.A. in Wind Conducting from UT Austin (2019), an M.M. in Wind Conducting from Indiana University (2016), and a B.M.E. from Indiana University (2011).
Her research and creative work focus on wind band pedagogy, ensemble direction, and innovative music dissemination. She founded the UTWE Live! livestream series (reaching 500,000+ viewers) and co-owns Keep Making Music, a media production company specializing in virtual ensemble performances. Her scholarly contributions include transcriptions of works by John Adams and Charles Ives, and critical editions of wind ensemble repertoire.

She holds leadership roles with organizations including Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps, and the National Youth Wind Ensemble. Professional affiliations span the College Band Directors National Association, National Association for Music Education, and honorary membership in Tau Beta Sigma.
