Tiffany Hunt

Tiffany Hunt, EdD, RN is an Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Nursing. With a clinical background in Adult Critical Care Nursing and simulation, she brings over a decade of nursing education experience to her role, joining the faculty in 2022 after 10 years of prior teaching in BSN programs.

Her research focuses on leveraging simulation and innovative pedagogical strategies to enhance student success, alongside integrating service learning to foster critical thinking. Recent trends in her work include transcultural nursing interventions, particularly in marginalized communities like the Yazidi population, and applying simulation and stress reduction technologies to address academic bottlenecks in BSN programs.

She currently teaches undergraduate nursing courses and secured a grant (2023-2025) to explore simulation and stress reduction apps in improving BSN student outcomes. Her affiliations include the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning and Sigma Theta Tau.
