Jenelle Kolterman

Jenelle Kolterman is an Instructor at the College of Nursing, University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) on the Norfolk Campus. She holds an MSN in Nursing Education from Bryan College of Health Sciences (2016), a BSN from Colorado Technical University (2013), an Associate Degree in Nursing from the University of South Dakota (1993), and an LPN degree from Northeast Community College (1990).

Her research focuses on physical assessment skills in practicing RNs and the transition from expert clinical nurse to novice faculty. She has over three decades of clinical experience in medical-surgical units, emergency departments, and rural trauma hospitals, alongside prior roles as an adjunct clinical instructor.

She maintains Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN since 2012) and active membership in Sigma Theta Tau International and the Emergency Nursing Association. She also provides PRN services at Craig Home Care.
