Thomas Prebet, MD, PhD, is an Adjunct Associate Professor in Hematology at Yale School of Medicine. He serves as Director of the Inpatient Hematology Unit and Medical Director of the Hematology Division at Yale Clinical Trial Office. He leads the Myeloid Malignancies Program within the Yale Cancer Center’s Hematology Department. His research focuses on clinical trials and translational studies for advanced phase AML and MDS, with over 110 peer-reviewed publications.
Education: MD from Montpellier University (2000), PhD from Centre de Recherche en Cancerologie (2009), postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University (2010), and residency at University Hospitals of Lyon (2004).
Research interests include AML/MDS treatment strategies, demethylating agents, HDAC inhibitors, and Wnt signaling pathways. He coordinates multiple clinical trials and has contributed to key advancements in understanding treatment outcomes and drug combinations.
