Rory Shallis

Dr. Rory Shallis is an **Assistant Professor Adjunct** in the **Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology** at the **Yale School of Medicine**. His clinical and research focus centers on **myeloid malignancies**, particularly **acute myeloid leukemia (AML)** and **myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS)**. He completed his MD at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, residency at Brown University, and fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital. His research explores **epidemiological trends**, **healthcare outcomes**, and **cost-effectiveness** in hematologic malignancies, with a goal of reducing care barriers and improving patient outcomes. He collaborates extensively with the **Cancer Outcomes, Public Policy and Effectiveness Research (COPPER) Center** at Yale.
