Thomas Heiden is an Adjunct Professor at Cornell Law School, affiliated with Cornell University. Concurrently, he serves as a Partner and Global Chair of the Product Liability, Mass Torts & Consumer Actions Practice at Latham & Watkins LLP, where he specializes in high-stakes litigation across the United States.
- Practice Areas: Toxic Tort, Energy Litigation (nuclear power plants, electric generating plants, oil/gas disputes), High-Profile Contract and Tort Disputes, Catastrophic Industrial Accidents.
Mr. Heiden has led landmark cases, including the first steam generator replacement trial, a six-month jury trial on a pressure-suppression containment system, and the qui tam nuclear security case at Rocky Flats Arsenal.
