David Forbes Delchamps is an Associate Professor at Cornell University's School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, affiliated with the Center for Applied Mathematics. With a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard (1988), his scholarly work bridges control theory, dynamical systems, and evolutionary game theory. Since 1982, he has contributed to understanding complex systems through mathematical frameworks.
- Education: Princeton (B.S.), Harvard (M.S., Ph.D.)
- Research Focus: Control theory applications to complex systems, dynamical systems theory, evolutionary game theory
- Teaching Legacy: Courses include Mathematics of Signal and System Analysis, Evolutionary Process and Algorithms, and advanced control theory
His publications explore quantized feedback mechanisms and nonlinear dynamics in engineering systems. Active in academic service, he has chaired committees related to curriculum development, academic integrity, and educational policy.
