Prof. Dr. Thoko Kaime is Chairholder of African Legal Studies at the University of Bayreuth since 2019. She also serves as Vice Director of the Institute of African Studies (IAS) (2021-2023) and Co-Speaker of the Doctoral College for Intersectionality Studies (2022-2023). Her research focuses on International Human Rights Law, International Environmental Law, and their intersections with children's rights, energy justice, and refugee law.
