Terra Nevrencan

Terra Nevrencan is a PartTime Lecturer in the School of Social Work at Nipissing University and serves as a Student Intervention Specialist. With over 20 years of experience in mental health services, she holds an MSW from Laurentian University and BA Hons in Psychology from Nipissing University. As a Registered Social Worker and Play Therapist Intern, her research focuses on diagnostic tools for abuse survivors, grandparent caregivers in addiction-affected families, and policy development for service users.

Her clinical expertise includes Mental Health First Aid and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training. She actively contributes to community initiatives through the Violence Against Women Coordinating Committee and Nipissing Transition House.
