Shoshana Pollack is a full-time Professor at Wilfrid Laurier University's Faculty of Social Work. She holds an MSW from Carleton University and a PhD in Social Work from the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on criminalization of women, prison systems, mental health impacts of childhood abuse, and gendered violence. She has 35 years of clinical experience in counseling and psychotherapy, specializing in gender identity, trauma, and LGBTQ+ issues. Currently, she combines academic work with a private practice offering clinical supervision for MSW-level counselors.
