Teresa Sutton is Associate Professor in Law at the University of Sussex, specializing in property law, ecclesiastical law, and legal history. She holds an LLB and MPhil from Cardiff University and is a practicing solicitor.
Research examines historical and contemporary aspects of property rights, church governance, and land use conflicts. Recent work analyzes consistory court decisions and ecclesiastical property disputes.
