Dr. Susan Pascoe is an Associate Professor of Law and Director of Programmes in Law at Middlesex University's Faculty of Business and Law, within the Department of Law and Social Sciences. She oversees LLB, BA Law, and LLM programmes and has served as Acting Interim Head of Department (August 2023–February 2024). Her expertise spans Land Law, with research focusing on human rights in property disputes, disability discrimination, and comparative land law.
Education: First Class Honours LLB from University College London (UCL), PhD in Trusts of Land from King's College London, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education. A solicitor by background, she maintains her solicitor status while contributing to legal academia.
Teaching includes Land Law on LLB programmes and prior roles in Equity & Trusts, Business Law, and Legal Method. Research highlights include over 15 publications on topics like easements, leasehold reforms, and human rights in property contexts. She has presented at leading institutions including Oxford, Cambridge, and Queen’s University Belfast.
Awards include Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and University Teaching Fellow (2009). Administrative leadership includes programme validation across Middlesex’s London, Dubai, and Mauritius campuses.
