Raamandarsingh Purmah

Raamandarsingh Purmah is a part-time Lecturer in Law at the Middlesex University Mauritius Campus. He holds an LLM in Human Rights and Social Justice from the University of Connecticut (2021, Fulbright Scholarship) and an LLB with French (Honours) from the University of Bristol (2016). He completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education at Middlesex University, earning Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. His research focuses on international human rights law, disability rights policies, and political science.

Teaching responsibilities include Tort Law, English Legal System, and Foundations and Principles of International Law. He has been employed at Middlesex University Mauritius since September 2021. External activities include pro bono legal advice for NGOs and roles as co-investigator on funded research projects.
