Teresa Hubbard

Teresa Hubbard is a Professor and holds the William and Bettye Nowlin Endowed Professorship in Photography at the University of Texas at Austin. She collaborates with Alexander Birchler, with whom she has worked since 1990. Their art focuses on time-based media, exploring intersections of social life, history, and memory, often engaging with disciplines like anthropology and archaeology. They represented Switzerland in the 57th Venice Biennale and have exhibited at major institutions including LACMA, Guggenheim, and Tate Liverpool.
