Terah Venzant Chambers is a Professor and Associate Dean for Equity and Inclusion at Michigan State University’s College of Education. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. Her research focuses on post-Brown K-12 education policy, urban education leadership, and the racial opportunity cost faced by high-achieving students of color. She has served as a Congressional Fellow with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, working in legislative and civil rights offices. Venzant Chambers currently leads equity initiatives in her role as Associate Dean, while contributing to editorial boards of journals like AERJ and Urban Education.
