Ann Owens is Professor of Sociology and Public Policy at the University of Southern California. Her research investigates urban inequality through housing, education, and spatial stratification lenses. She directs the Segregation Explorer project, analyzing neighborhood and school segregation patterns across U.S. metropolitan areas.
