Temina Cadi Sulumuna

Temina Cadi Sulumuna is an Assistant Professor specializing in harp performance at the Faculty of Composition and Music Theory, Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree and maintains an active dual career as both a performing harpist and musicology scholar with international recognition.

Dr. Sulumuna earned her professional Master of Arts degree with distinction under Professor Urszula Mazurek at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, where she also completed her distinguished internship. Her doctoral research focused on "A New Perspective on the Interpretation of Selected Virtuoso Works for Solo Harp by Henriette Renié Against the Background of the Composer's Spiritual Attitude." She has furthered her education through masterclasses with renowned professors including Susann McDonald, Germaine Lorenzini, and Helga Storck.

Her research interests center on harp performance practice, musicological analysis of composer correspondence, and the interpretation of 20th century harp repertoire, particularly the works of Henriette Renié. Dr. Sulumuna has developed specialized courses including "The Harp in 19th-20th Century Music" and "Translation of English Musicological Texts," demonstrating her interdisciplinary approach that bridges performance practice with scholarly research.
