Tatiana Potts

Tatiana Potts is an Assistant Professor at Western Carolina University's David Orr Belcher College of Fine and Performing Arts, School of Art and Design. Her work explores architecture's role in art, reinventing spaces through prints, books, and folded paper installations. She investigates cultural identity, blending experiences from Slovakia, the U.S., and her conceptual creation of 'Tajtania,' a fluid, responsive artistic space.

Research Interests: Architecture as a narrative tool, paper installations as portals, and the intersection of cultural geography, language, and identity. Her works are featured in the Victoria and Albert Museum (UK), National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, and MIT Libraries, among others.
